Though the prefecture of Lassithi in Crete is a rather quiet and peaceful destination, it offers some chances for active nightlife or an evening drink and chat. Lassithi bars are mainly concentrated in Sissi, Elounda, Agios Nikolaos and Sitia, the most tourist destinations of the prefecture.
Lounge bars and vibrant dance venues can be found in these regions and offer entertainment overnight or till 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning. The bars in Lassithi have a wide variety of music styles, from jazz and ethnic to R&B, rock, and mainstream pop. In Sissi, have endless fun at the Jolly Roger, sit back and relax at the Hemingway, try a special cocktail in Peggys Gordon and enjoy a romantic atmosphere in Sunset bar. In Agios Nikolaos, the most famous Lassithi bars are En Plo, Yannis, Candia, and Puerto.
