 In the case of Elafonissos, according to the general vibe of the island, its most characteristic products are mainly traditional and are related to the main activities performed on the area. Elafonissos is mainly a fishing village and when it comes to prepared dishes, fresh fish and fish soup, as well as grilled octopus are the most characteristic ones.
Try also the traditional “saitia”, fried pies with cheese and spices and the lobster spaghetti. Regarding the drinking, Elafonissos obviously counts on enough ouzeries were to enjoy ouzo, the most traditional aperitif on the whole Greece, some of them with very good mezedes-delicacies. |
