New EasyJet routes to Greece

Low-cost airline carrier EasyJet announced the launch of five new routes to and from Greece for tourist season 2014, particularly to and from Athens, Heraklion, Kos, Mykonos and Corfu. Three routes will be launched in spring 2014: the route Athens-Hamburg will begin on April 2nd (every Wednesday and Sunday), the route Heraklion-Edinburgh will start on April 1st (every Tuesday and Saturday) and the route Kos-Glasgow will start on April 5th (every Tuesday and Saturday).

The other two routes will be launched in summer: Mykonos-Naples starts on July 1st (every Tuesday and Friday) and Corfu-Naples on July 2nd (every Wednesday and Sunday). Costs vary per route. Last year, the airline transferred 1.7 million passengers on 55 routes to/from Greece. In 2014, it expects to carry about 2 million passengers in 60 destinations.
