Rotonda Quarter in Thessaloniki: The neighbourhood of Rotonda took its name from the circular building that stands there. Close to Rotonda, there is the Arch of Galerius, or else Kamara, a frequent meeting point for the locals.
Rotonda is within a walking distance from the archaeological sites of Thessaloniki (the Roman Agora and the Palace of Galerius), as well as the most famous Byzantine churches of Thessaloniki. |
