General information

Mizithra is actually one of Greece's most delicious cheeses, which, like feta cheese, is very white; that's where this beach's name originated from. Getting its name from the two large, white-colored rocks that pop out of the water’s surface, the secluded Mizithra Beach boasts otherworldly sparkling, turquoise waters and a rocky seabed! Its small shore is filled with sand, though it is large enough to host only a small number of guests every time! Take a dive and relax while watching one of the most beautiful shores in the Ionian!

It is a non-organized destination since there are absolutely no facilities on this small strip of sand! Arguably one of the most wonderful sights to behold in all of Zakynthos, Mizithra is mainly approachable by boat, though in recent years, some experienced climbers have managed to reach the shores while climbing down the mountainside.
