Ionio Beach (also called Ano Vasilikos Beach) is an extension of the famous Banana Beach, boasting a sandy shore along its length! It has clear waters and a deep, smooth seabed, making it a decent swimming option for experienced swimmers! On top of that, the beach does not have any trees or large bushes, meaning that there is very little natural shade.

Ionio is a well-organized beach destination since it offers an array of sunbed pairs with sun umbrellas, though it does have some untouched spots! On top of that, one will spot a handful of nearby beach bars, ideal for a quick refreshment, a freshly prepared snack, or a cocktail mix! Plus, you may reach this shore with direct access from a nearby dirt road, while you will also find plenty of parking space.
