Meganisi can be reached directly only by boat.
 Travel there - Flights
There is no airport on Meganisi. The closest airport is In Aktion, close to Preveza, which receives mainly domestic flights from Athens. Otherwise, you can use the International Airport of Athens, which receives flights from all over the world.
Travel there - Ferries
The only way to go to Meganisi is by boat from Nydri. As there isn't a direct ferry from Piraeus to Meganisi, you have to go to Nydri village, on the eastern coast of Lefkada island, and then take the ferry to Meganisi. The trip takes about 20 minutes. |
