Lefkada Ammoglossa beach

Near the eastern end of Kastro and Gyra beaches in Lefkada, one will spot the magnificent Ammoglossa Beach! Featuring coarse sand and some scattered pebbles, Ammoglossa has calm, warm, and shallow waters showcasing bright teal/emerald-like colorways! It is mostly a windless beach destination, so it is perfect for families with children, as well as people who want to bring over their own beach equipment!

Ammoglossa is non-organized since it is a small-sized shore, having no on-the-beach facilities, though it does tend to get quite crowded during the summer months. In addition, you can do a 180 and enjoy the views toward the Castle of Agia Mavra or spot the three stone-built breakwaters in the sea!
