Athens Airport

We have travelled to Athens Airport many time in the past but this was the first time we ever got a taxi to go to our hotel in the city center. Having heard all the crazy stories about taxi drivers in Greece, we pre-booked our transfer . I just have to say that our driver (Nikos) was the sweetest guy, willing to help us with everything, give us all the info, make several stops (searching for a bank). He also provided us with a free city center map and a cold bottle of water for each passenger. Plus, the taxi was super luxurious and had a Wi-Fi service!!

Thank you Nikos!

Word of thanks is not enough

Dear Albert and colleagues,

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to you for arranging for my family and I to be collected from Mykonos airport and conveyed to the port.

On the outward leg of our journey we were delayed an hour and a half, and had given up all hope of making a very tight connection for the onward leg to Naxos. The taxi driver could not have been more helpful, and because of his efforts we made it with seconds to spare.

In our haste, we did not have any opportunity to thank the taxi driver, or indeed, offer a well-deserved tip, as we had to literally run onto the ferry. I am deeply sorry about this, and wondered whether you could possibly forward of thanks to him or the company he works for.

We are all too aware that times are hard for our Greek friends, although no one we met ever complained (unlike us British!). A word of thanks is unfortunately all we are able to offer.

Kindest regards - Ευχαριστώ πολύ

John Davies and family

Mini van for large group

As we were a large family traveling to Greece this year (7 people), we booked a mini van for our transportation from Athens airport to the port of Piraeus. The three taxis that we needed with so many luggage would be more expensive than the mini van, trust me! Everything was smooth, the van was there even before we exit the airport gate, large and clean. We arrived in Piraeus about 40 min later, fast and safe.

It was a long way from the airport of Kefalonia to Fiscardo (about 2 hours drive) and the road not so good, only one line per direction. As there is no bus serving this route, taxi was obviously our only choice. The car was clean and spacious, with aircondition and leather seats. Nice and comfortable car to travel for so long! The driver was also chatty, we liked him a lot! Price was fine I guess, depending on the long trip.

After a long flight to Athens from Canada, we are glad that a taxi was waiting for us early morning (5:45 am) outside Athens airport to transfer us to Kalamata, about 4 hours drive away. With 2 little children with us (3 and 2) and many luggage, it was a great fuss to go to the bus station close to Athens centre and take the bus to Kalamata. A taxi was the best and fastest option. The driver was very helpful and made two stops on the way because the children were dizzy and tired. Thank you for everything, it was truly a relief for us!

Nice ride from Corfu airport to our hotel in Acharavi, on the north. Punctual and informative driver, good car, clean, and also less expensive than the transfer price that the hotel was asking for. Keep up the good work!

I usually do not book transfers but my friends told me so many stories about unreliable taxi drivers in Athens, that they persuaded me. Finally I booked my transfer from Athens airport to city hotel (Syntagma region) and return four days later. Frankly no problem, everything was great and was also relieved from the anxiety whether the taxi driver would be good or not. Thank you people, great service!

Fantastic and punctual service, thank you! After a long flight to Athens from the USA, it was a relief to have a taxi waiting for you outside the airport gate. The queue for taxis outside the airport was very large and busy. Yannis the driver was helpful with the luggage and gave us good advice on what to see in Athens. Really great service!

Your services were tremendous thanks especially the taxis waiting for them with their name and the accommodation aspects. Also the very responsive and meticulously correct booking service. Congratulations. Absolutely top notch.

Also we liked the travel options you put together - the islands and hotels and timing chosen. Well done.
