Rhodes: Genadi Rhodes

Genadi in Rhodes, Dodecanese Greece: Genadi is a village located in the southern part of the island, approximately 60 km from the cosmopolitan town of Rhodes. It is a small settlement with very nice taverns, small hotels, apartments and villas extended in its length. Except from the sun, the sea and the homonymous beach, the visitor can admire the picturesque white-washed houses, the old olive press as well as the delicious Greek cuisine.

You can wonder around the narrow streets and the stairs which they finally lead to the magnificent Byzantine churches of Ioanni Theologos and Agia Anastasia that were built with the structural material from the wreckage of the Knights Tower. You can take short walk in Genadi barrage with its small lakes in the green scenery and in Prasonisi (Green Island) only 15 km away, ideal for those who love to surf.
