Location: On the north western side of the island
Description: Mandraki is the capital village and the main port of Nisyros. It has about few permanent inhabitants and remains an unspoilt holiday resort.
Location: 14 km south east of Mandraki
Description: Nikia is actually a tiny, mountainous village. A hill above this village gives a great view to the magnificent volcano of Nisyros.

Location: 4 km east of Mandraki
Description: This popular beach is a long stretch of sand, sprinkled with dark pebbles. Few taverns and rooms to rent line this beach.
Location: 13 km east of Mandraki
Description: The beach includes many different sized beaches within it, mostly inside the coves which have been formed by the sea.

The Volcano of Nisyros is active and consittutes one of the youngest volcanoes in Greece. It is found close to Nikia village and it is the most visited site on the island.
This Castle is also known as the Castle of Panagia Spiliani. It was probably built in the 14th century by the Knights of Saint John and gives a great view of the island.

The name of this Monastery means "Virgin Mary of the Cave". It was probably built in the 15th century and hosts many ecclesiastical relics inside.
