Over the last years, Kalymnos has developed as one of the top climbing destinations. Surrounded by some of the finest limestone crags in the world, Kalymnos is the ideal site to discover climbing or improve your technique.

Simon Montmory, a certified climbing guide living permanently on the island, offers rock climbing courses all year round. These courses are adapted to all levels and needs of climbers and they are offered to individuals or small groups. With more than 10 years of mountaineering in Chamonix, Simon has also explored the crags of France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Canada and China.

In 2005, he got his French certification for teaching rock climbing (BEES escalade) and then opened a climbing school in the island of Kalymnos. He has climbed most of the routes on the island and has also opened new routes in Kalymnos and Telendos. His courses address to both beginners or experimented climbers and also climbing camps are organized.
