The new church of the monastery and its fine bell-tower offer a magnificent panoramic view over the island.
The interior of the church is decorated by wonderful frescoes, murals and icons painted by local artists.

This monastery is standing on a hill nearby Pothia and is dedicated to the patron of the island.

It offers a superb view over the island and has a magnificent bell-tower with four storeys, a cross-shaped main church with round domes and lovely white washed chapels.
Emborios Chapel

This lovely whitewashed chapel is located at the end of the main road of Kalymnos and is worth seeing for its traditional island architecture and its fine
