 Astypalea is a small island and transportation around it is quite difficult if you do not have your own mean of transport. There are, of course, buses on the island, but their itineraries are not very frequent and do not serve all destinations.
Most transportation on Astypalea are done either by taxi or with a rented car and motorbike. If you decide to rent, you are advised to rent a motorbike, since some roads on the island are dirt and narrow, so a motorbike would be of more convenience. |
