Greece has a great reputation concerning its lively nightlife. Some areas have a more active nightlife than some others.
The Cyclades, during the summer season, have one of the most active night lives and Santorini is considered to be one of the most nightlife oriented island of the Cyclades.
Most of the bars and night clubs of Santorini are located in the island's capital, Fira, but also in the island's most beautiful area, Oia, and in the two major beach resorts, Kamari and Perissa.
Fira is the capital of Santorini Island and also its commercial center. It attracts a lot of people and for that reason many café, bars and night clubs have settled there.
Many café and bars are located along the caldera and offer incredible panoramic view over the submerged volcano.
Note also that Oia offers one of the world's most famous sunsetsin the world.
Oia has a lowest profile. It is the most beautiful and famous area of the island but has a less active nightlife than Fira.
It is world known as a honeymoon area and proposes quieter café and bars. |
