 General:
Parikia Paros : It is likely that you will enter Naoussa on the main road from Parika. The road which goes down to the main square and waterfront is actually a river bed. The main square offers much you will require in terms of buses, cash withdrawal and there is an information booth in the corner of the square (though rarely open). The waterfront is the highlight of the town. The fishing boats bob up and down and nearby a string of restaurants specialize in seafood.
Sitting above the town is the Cathedral. In between here and the seafront are a series of whitewashed, paved alleys containing more restaurants, boutiques and handicraft shops. These are well worth exploring and it’s hard to get lost in a town this small. You will spend your majority of your time to the east of the river bed and there is little to the west apart from the Byzantine museum.
