Koufonisia Ancient Ruins

Ancient Ruins of Koufonisia: The only archaeological site in Kato Koufonisi, which is almost uninhabited, is the ruins of an ancient temple; there is no concrete evidence to show whom this temple was devoted to. Nowadays, a small church of Virgin Mary has been located on the top of the ruins; the ruins hold a jetty, which in turn holds the church.
