Location: On the eastern coast of the island
Description: Chora is a lovely and picturesque town. It is the capital of Andros island. The most famous attractions of Chora are the statue of the Unknown Sailor and the lighthouse.

:: Agios Petros beach

Location:
30 km to the north-west of Chora and 3 km from Gavrio
Description: This beach gets quite crowded because it is well-organized. It has umbrellas, sun beds, changing rooms and chances to practice water sports.

Location:
To the south east coast of Andros
Description: This valley extends for 7 km and is known for its lush greenery. Moreover, it has 22 windmills and many old half-ruined towers.

:: Batsi village

Location:
22 km to the west of Chora town
Description: This small, seaside village is ideal for strolling around in the waterfront and having fish meal in its various taverns.

:: The Geometric Settlement of Zagora

Location:
Close to Paleopolis village, 18 km from Chora
Description: This archaeological site was first discovered in the 19th century but it has been intensively studied since 1960. It contains ruins from the geometric period.

In Ormos beach

Location:
Close to Batsi village, 20 km from Chora
Description: Many waterfalls are found close to Batsi village and the waterfalls of Remata are the most known. They offer an ideal opportunity to walk along the lush greenery of Andros and enjoy its natural beauty.

:: The Castle of Faneromeni

Location:
Close to Kochylou area
Description: This castle, also known as Pano Kastro, is one of the most enduring monuments of Andros. It was built in the Middle times to protect the residents form enemies and pirates.

:: The Tower of Agios Petros

Location:
In Agios Petros village, 30 km to the west of Chora
Description:This circular tower stands high up on the mountain below the village of Agios Petros. It was built around the 4th or 3rd century BC and its base dates from the pre-historic times. The dome of the tower is partly in ruins and doesn't connect with the five floors above.
