Perasma, meaning passage in Greek, is a pleasant restaurant in Maleme, a beautiful village of Chania located 16 km from Chania Town. Both the indoor and outdoor dining areas have a traditional and warm decoration with natural colors. The cuisine is mainly Cretan offering fresh and locally-grown products, like olive oil, to prepare the finest dishes.
One of the recommended dishes is the lamb cooked in the oven. Try also the Sfakiani pie with honey. The tavern opens early in the morning and closes late at night. They also have a well-stocked bar and a playground to keep the kids happy.
