The capital and main port of Paros is Parikia. This is the center of the island, where visitors can find all kinds of tourist facilities and from where buses depart for all places around Paros. A popular spot is also Naoussa, located on the northern side and famous for the picturesque port with cafeterias and bars around it.
In Paros, you can find all kinds of beaches, from popular beaches, like Golden Beach and Santa Maria, to secluded coasts where you can enjoy all the privacy you may need. The southwestern coast of Paros has the most frequented beaches and it is a great spot for windsurfing and other water sports.
The sister island of Paros is Antiparos, a calm place and close enough for a daily excursion.
