Hellenic seaways

Hellenic Seaways is used by tourists, residents and those who are island hopping in Greece, offering a variety of routes to the Cyclades, Saronic, and Sporades Islands. It provides flexibility with a choice of conventional ferries and faster boats that can accommodate foot passengers, cars, trucks, and cargo.

All Hellenic Seaways’ car-passenger ferries have lounges, reserved, and open-deck seating, and cabins. Facilities onboard include self-service and à la carte restaurants, shops and Wi-Fi. The ‘Flying Cats’ are passenger-only and do not have outside seating. Facilities onboard include air-conditioned seating, cafes and snack bars.

Hellenic Seaways is one of the four largest Greek operators alongside Minoan Lines, Anek Lines and Attica Group. It was created in 2005 from the merging of several shipping companies. Since then, it has added many new ships to its fleet including two ferries, which were built in Greece. The company’s Highspeed 7 catamaran is currently the fastest car-passenger ferry in Europe.

During 2017 and 2018 Hellenic Seaways was purchased by Attica Group, an international ferry company based in Europe with four subsidiaries: Blue Star Ferries, Superfast Ferries, Hellenic Seaways and Africa Morocco Link.
