Golden Star Ferries

Golden Star Ferries sails from the port of Rafina in Attica on the Greek mainland to four islands in the Cyclades; Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, Santorini and to Crete. Services run daily in the summer. It also operates routes from Piraeus to the Cyclades.

The company has three car-passenger ferries and one high-speed ferry with onboard facilities including cabins, reserve and open-deck seating, a range of eating and drinking venues, gift shops, onboard Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. It has two passenger-only catamarans with reserve seating and coffee shops onboard.

Golden Star Ferries was launched in 2011 by two brothers Dimitris and George Stefanou. They purchased their first ferry in 2011 and since then bought several more, including two passenger-only catamarans. The company won ‘Passenger Line of the Year’ in 2017 at the Lloyds List shipping awards.
