Keramidi village Pelion: Keramidi is a small traditional village located on the northern slopes of Pelion Mountain, about 45 km north of Volos. Keramidi distinguishes for its traditional architecture with the stone houses, the paved paths and the central square. In this square, there are huge plane trees with traditional coffee houses and taverns underneath. From the yard of the church of Agios Georgios in Keramidi, you can have an incredible view to the Aegean Sea.
About 5 km from Keramidi, there is the seaside village of Kamari, with a small port where fishing boats moor. It is believed that close to these coasts, part of the Persian king Xerxes was destroyed in 480 BC, close to the ancient town of Kasthanea.
