General information

Lafkos village Pelion: The Medieval village of Lafkos has a square with tall, beautiful plane trees. Remains of a fort and tombs from the 4th century BC have been found in the area of Chontri Amos. Lafkos proudly exhibit its impressive three aisled basilica of Genessios tis Theotokou, wonderful example of Peliot ecclesiastical architecture.
