General information

Mandraki Bay beach: This is one of the calmest beaches located on the western coast of the island, 15 km west of Skiathos Town. It is a very well-known beach gifted by the nature for its crystal clear waters and unspoiled views.

Although it has perfect natural surroundings, during the summer months it doesn't get very crowded, probably because the road from Koukounaries to Mandraki is a track. The beach stretches for many meters where you can take a walk. There is a canteen offering water and other cold drinks. The beach distinguishes by the high hills and the wonderful view that it offers. Access to the beach is easy.

    Mandrake Beach - Update

The overview provided by Greeka.com is a little out of date: The beach does appear to be managed in part. Areas of the beach have managed beds and umbrellas whilst other areas are not. There is a basic but great Taverna on the beach that does have toilets available to everyone. The Taverna has a small but good selection of food and drink. There is some small arena at the far end of the beach which is used by nudists, this was not a problem on such a quiet beautiful beach.
