General information

Chrissi Milia Beach Alonissos: Only 5 km northeast of Patitiri lies the sandy beach of Chrissi Milia known as the most beautiful beaches of Alonissos. It is one of the very few organized beaches on the island which offers sun beds, umbrellas and some water sports. A nice tavern is standing on a little hill on a side of the beach.

The golden sand of Chrissi Milia is quite extraordinary, shimmering under the sun. The waters are limpid of an amazing turquoise colour. Rocky pools are ready to explore at the far end of the beach while pine trees offer their refreshing shadow.

Sandy and safe for the kids

The beach of Chrisi Milia is just lovely. Extremely clean water and great for snorkelling. It was also very safe for my kids because the seafloor was too sandy and their feet didn't get hurt from the rocks, as in other beaches of Alonissos. Chrisi Milia had some sun beds, but you have to go early to catch one, because the visitors of the nearby hotels were many. For me, it was the best beach of Alonissos.
