Spetses Agia Marina beach
Agia Marina Beach Spetses: The beaxh of Agia Marina is located only a couple of kilometres from Dapia, the town of Spetses. It is the island's most popular beach. It is overlooked by a small pink and white chapel of the same name which is surrounded by palm trees, pines and cypresses.
The beach consists of pebbles and sand and offers a wide range of water sports, umbrellas, sun beds, a beach bar and various nice taverns where one can enjoy some good food.
Agia Marina can be reached by taxi boat, by foot or with the local bus. Its high popularity and its proximity to the town cause it to be quite crowded, especially during high season. The earliest traces of human settling have been excavated in Agia Marina, such as clay vessels, figurines and ruins of a fortified wall, all dating back to the Early Bronze Age.
