Aegina Local products

Aegina is famous for its excellent pistachio nuts and is the first producer of these nuts in Greece. Ceramics and potteries are also locally fabricated in Aegina, particularly in workshops in the village of Mesagros.

Aegina is a very fertile island and produces various agricultural products of excellent quality, such as figs, almonds, grapes, and olives. Its olive oil is extremely pure and has a wonderful taste. Fishing is also one of the main occupations of the local inhabitants, so Aegina has a lot of fresh fish to offer.
