Among the outdoor activities that someone can enjoy in Sparti, is the two-day hiking excursion on Taygetos Mountain. This trip is organized by Climb Up, a company that has been organizing rock climbing adventures in Greece since 2013. During the tour, the participants are accompanied by a professional guide, while the journey starts in the central square of Sparti.
The participants will cross the spring of Manganiari, south of Sparti will climb a lot of rocks, and will enjoy the beauty of Parnon, an impressive mountain range of the Peloponnese. During the second day, the participants reach the Mountain of Taygetos and eventually return to Sparti. Moreover, an overnight stay in a hut, breakfast, diner, first aid kit, walking poles, waterproof clothing, transport, and insurance are also included by Climb Up.
