Travel to Mycenae by bus and car

There are daily buses from Athens to Mycenae. The bus trip is about 1 and half hour. Buses from Athens to Mycenae depart from Kifissos KTEL Bus Station. To go to Kifissos KTEL Bus Station, passengers have to take Bus 051 from Omonoia or Bus X93 from the airport of Athens.

There are also very frequent buses from Nafplion and Argos to Mycenae. The bus trip from Nafplion to Mycenae is 30 min and from Argos to Mycenae 15 min.

Travel to Mycenae by car

To go from Athens to Mycenae by car, you follow the National Highway Athens-Corinth. After the Corinth Canal, you follow the road to Tripoli. At some point, you see signs to Nafplion and Mycenae.
