Buses

In order to reach Kalavryta from Athens, you need to take the KTEL bus with direction to Aigio from Kifissos bus station. KTEL buses connect Kalavryta with Patra and Aigio. Train

A tourist train, known as the cog train, runs from Diakofto to Zachlorou and Kalavryta. This train operates on weekends and in National Holidays. The route is very scenic and this cog train is considered a historical attraction for the region.

Flights near Kalavryta

There is no airport in Kalavryta. The closest are the airports of Athens and Patra. The airport of Athens receives domestic and international flights all year round, while the airport of Patra (Araxos) works only in summer and receives charter flights from abroad. From both cities, visitors can take the bus to Kalavryta.
