Gythio Cinema Club in Gythio, Town

The Cinema Club of Gythio is a non-profit association founded in 1997 by a group of people who had an intense will to be involved in the cultural activity of their city. For the first few years, the club operated as an errant troupe with the first projections taking place at the basement of the Laconian yacht club.

Nowadays, the screenings are hosted in the building of the old Town Hall of the area. The difficulties are numerous but the public support keeps the effort strong for the club to continue its great work.
