Ermioni Festivals & Cultural Events

Most of the celebrations in Ermioni are organized in honor of the Orthodox Saints and they are perfect occasions to socialize. Traditional food and wine are served to the locals and visitors accompanied by live music and traditional dances.

Religious feasts & festivals

August 15th
The largest celebration in Ermioni is the Assumption of the Virgin, on August 15th. Preparations start the day before, with a litany of the icon around the streets of the village. After the litany, there is a lovely feast with food, drinks, and traditional dancing.

July 1st
On the 1st of July, the locals celebrate the feast of Agioi Anargyroi.

Cultural events

Kantada Serenaders
A lovely feast is organized in August in Ermioni, with the Ermioni Kantada group singing traditional and romantic songs.

Wine Festival
A wine festival is organized every September in Ermioni.
