Summer schedule of ancient sites

The summer opening hours for the archaeological sites and museums in Greece was recently announced by the Ministry of Culture. Not many changes have been made in comparison to the winter schedule, as more staff is expected to be hired to cover all turns. In particular, all archaeological sites will remain open from 08:00 am till 15:00 pm and all public museums will be open from 09:00 am till 16:00 pm. Exceptionally, the following sites will be open for more hours: Acropolis of Athens 08:00-20:00 (Saturday-Sunday and public holidays 08:00-15:00) Epidaurus Archaeological Site and Museum 08:00-20:00 (Mondays 08:00-12:30) Archaeological Site and Museum of Royal Tombs in Aeges 08:00-17:00 (Mondays closed) Archaeological Site and Museum of Pella 09:00-16:00 (Mondays closed) Akrotiri Santorini Archaeological Site 08:00-17:00 Knossos Minoan Site 08:00-17:00 Spinalonga 09:30-16:30
