Direct ferry to remote Kastelorizo

The ferry company Blue Star, member of Attica Group, is starting a new itinerary that will connect Piraeus directly to the remote island of Kastelorizo, off Rhodes, close to the Turkish coasts. Note that Kastelorizo, apart from a picturesque and calm island, is the easternest part of Greece. This itinerary will be held once a week and will contribute in a higher quality of life and transportations for the permanent inhabitants and visitors of this small island. F/B Diagoras will perform this itinerary and will make stops in many in-between islands of the Aegean. In particular, from 03/03/09 to 31/05/09 and from 01/10/09 to 31/10/09, the itinerary goes as following: -Departure from Piraeus every Tuesday at 03.00 p.m. and arrival in Kastelorizo on Wednesday at 11.10 a.m. (through Paros-Kalymnos-Kos-Rhodes) - Departure from Kastelorizo every Wednesday at 01.40 a.m. and arrival in Piraeus on Thursday at 08:55 a.m. (through Rhodes-Kos-Kalymnos) From 01/06/09 to 30/09/2009, - From Piraeus, departure every Monday at 03.00 p.m. and arrival in Kastelorizo on Tuesday at 13.55 p.m. (through Paros-Naxos-Kalymnos-Kos-Nisyros-Tilos-Rhodes) - From Kastelorizo, departure every Tuesday at 14.25 p.m. and arrival in Piraeus on Wednesday at 12.55 p.m. (through Rhodes-Tilos-Nisyros-Kos-Kalymnos-Paros-Naxos)
