European Music Festival!

Jun 19, 2008 — Jun 21, 2008 • Category: Events
For three days and at least on 13 spots all over Athens and on 16 more cities around Greece, as always free for the public, 19 to 21 June all kinds of music are playing LOUD and they promise…to open your ears! The electro stage on Kotzia Square and the jazz on Technopolis, along with other events on Syntagma Square, Mavilli Square, National Garden to name only a few, the Festival is this year expected to be more spectacular then ever. With the participation of Astypalea island, the cities of Volos, Giannitsa, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Karditsa, Serres, Kozani, Katerini, Lamia, Preveza, Trikala, Chania, and the islands of Skopelos and Rhodes, the European Music Festival is proven to be the greatest music happenings in Greece. Exchanges between the Festival's cities will play a major role. Our "deputies" for this year will be Takis Barberis Group to Lausanne, which sends us the Romeo electro group, G-Pal to Milan, from where we are expecting the DJ Dash and finally the Happy Dog Project to London, from where the soul-funk Mama's Gun is going to arrive here. More than 35 groups are further moving to and from several cities in national level. More info at: Music Day
