Thessaloniki Rotonda Neighbourhood
Rotonda Quarter in Thessaloniki: The neighbourhood of Rotonda took its name from the circular building that stands there. Close to Rotonda, there is the Arch of Galerius, or else Kamara, a frequent meeting point for the locals. Rotonda is within a walking distance from the archaeological sites of Thessaloniki (the Roman Agora and the Palace of Galerius), as well as the most famous Byzantine churches of Thessaloniki. Closeby, there is also Bezesteni, an open market with fabrics, clothes, shoes and carpets that reminds a lot an oriental market.
