Location: Aristotle Square

The Museum of Macedonian Stuggle is housed in a 19th century Neoclassical building designed by the famous German architect Ernst Ziller, in the centre of Thessaloniki. Through valuable exhibits, the Museum presents the fights of the Macedonians and generally people from northern Greece to set free from the Ottoman rule and incorporate to the Greek State.

The bronze statue of Alexander the Great on his famous horse Bucephalus, located at the waterfront (Nea Paralia) of Thessaloniki. The monument was sculptured by Evangellos Moustakas in 1974 and with 6.15m in height, it is the largest statue in Greece. Seen are also the formidable sarissas (or sarisa) the famous 4-6m in length spear or pike that was used in Macedonian phalanxes.
