Sani Gourmet 2015 travels the Silk Road
The fascinating gastronomy event Sani Gourmet is taking place from May 8th to May 17th, 2015, at Sani Resort, Halkidiki. The Sani Gourmet 2015 is organizing for the second time The Silk Road, a series of cuisine from Mediterranean countries as well as Near and Far East.
In this year's Sani Gourmet, organized for the 10th year as a gastronomic event itself, there is an extended list of participants. Chefs from China, India, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Iran, Georgia and Azerbaijan will meet and reveal the secrets of traditional and innovative cuisine of their country. Among guests, there will be some great names of Greek and international gastronomy, who have won at least one Michelin star during their career, such as the Greek chef Tasos Mantis, Anar V. Gasimov from Azerbaijan, the Indian chef Alfred Prasad, Hamid Salimian from Iran and Tekuna Gachechiladze from Georgia.
The event aims at providing an invaluable experience full of rich aromas, authentic tastes and astounding colours. Apart from being a successful annual cooking event, Sani Gourmet is also an institution for cultural interchange and culinary innovation, accomplished through a mosaic of dishes and made according to different cultures.
