General information

Kalogria beach Halkidiki: Sithonia which is known as the middle leg of Halkidiki is gifted with beautiful white sandy beaches secluded among the dense forests. Being not so developed as Kassandra yet its beaches area ideal for total privacy.

One such cove that sits amidst the lush pine forests is the lovely beach of Kalogria. It consists of soft sand along the clear turquoise blue water, with green hills covering the back of the beach.

Strolling by the tranquil coast, you can easily discover secluded spots and rock enclaves. Enjoy swimming in the shallow sand floored waters until the magical sunset comes painting the horizon golden yellow. Umbrellas and chairs are also available on the narrow beach. The adventurous as well as the children will definitely want to climb up the pine tree hills for a splendid view of the nearby peninsula.

A couple of nice taverns and bars sit by the beach offering Greek snacks and drinks and you can rent water tubes and bananas. The nearby town of Nikitas has shops and supermarkets, and resorts with water sports and night concerts. The best way to reach Kalogria is by highway from Polygiros, capital of Halkidiki, which sits 40 km to the northwest.
