Korakonissi is a rock formation that resembles a small islet, although it is connected to the mainland. You will find it in the northwestern part of the island, near Kiliomenos village.
What makes Korakonissi unusual is its impressive natural arch and the pools that have been formed naturally in its rocks. The waters surrounding it are crystal clear and deep, with an interesting seabed that makes this location great for snorkeling. There is no beach there and you can only jump into the sea from the rocks.
It is ideal for off-the-beaten-track exploring, although it still attracts several visitors. You can get there on foot via a path.
