Daily cleanings in Laganas beaches

The municipality of Laganas on Zakynthos has decided to clean the beaches of the area, after the problems caused by the intense weather conditions this winter. Machines of the municipality are cleaning the beaches from rocks and they are also working to preserve the damages in the water supply system, caused by the huge storms, the strong winds and the rock slidings. Because of the slidings and the works, the road to Kastello was closed. The municipality is working intensively to be ready for the weekend, as this is the weekend of the Greek Carnival and many visitors will come to Zakynthos.
