Xigia Sulfur Beach is the northernmost cove in the area of Xigia. It is the most popular one and attracts many visitors since it is easily accessible. It has no facilities besides a designated car parking area that usually gets full pretty quickly during the summer season.
The seashore is sandy and the small bay is surrounded by rocky cliffs.
Due to the presence of sulfur in the sea, the waters have a distinctive ice blue color and smell. The beach is considered a natural spa because of the properties of the sulfur.
