Paxi Pounda beach

General information

Pounda Beach Paxi: Pounda beach is a pretty beach located 5 km south of Gaios, the capital of Paxi and close to Logos village. It can be accessed via a small track, which leads off from the main road.

The beach is quite small and does not have any facilities for visitors there it is advisable to bring your own umbrella and towels as well as a strong sun screen. The beach is rarely crowded thus it is nice for a relaxing and rejuvenating time under the sun.

Swimming is possible here, though it is not entirely safe to leave children unattended in the water. Nearby is Kipiadi, another beautiful beach, which is much longer with white shiny pebbles. Many yachts anchor at this beach.
