A summer without sunbeds

• Category: News
The major of the small Ionian island Paxi, Spiros Bogdanos, finally found a solution to the problem that the island was dealing with. The sunbeds and the umbrellas for rent had gradually covered every single span on the beaches of this small island. The trials to reduce them or to define specific beaches with such equipment failed. Finally, they were totally prohibited!
So, Paxi experienced the first sunbed-free summer and as it seems, it will continue. It was an experiment of full success and the critics by both Greek and foreign visitors were very good and the majority was satisfied by this decision. The beaches are now more beautiful than ever and the prohibition did not influence at all the flow to Paxi island.
