Megali Ammos Beach is a Blue-Flag-awarded seashore near the airport of Kefalonia, located about eight kilometers south of the island’s capital, Argostoli. It boasts a sandy shore with crystal-clear waters and a shallow, smooth-sand seabed across its one-and-a-half kilometer length!

This beach is semi-organized, offering sunbeds and sun umbrellas to rent, as well as a beach bar, ideal for a refreshing drink or a fulfilling snack meal! Visitors may also spot an outdoor shower, whereas its length makes it perfect for snorkeling exhibitions, as there are plenty of submerged rocks you may spot!
Also, it is surrounded by a wide selection of hotels and apartment complexes.
