General information

The shore of Alaties in Kefalonia is a small pebbly beach that lies well-hidden among impressive steep rocks, 45 km away from Argostoli and only a 15-minute drive from Fiscardo. It got its name from the Greek word for salt - alati. This tiny yet beautiful cove offers crystalline turquoise waters and a fascinating seabed. However, divers should be extra cautious due to the strong sea currents.

Visitors will definitely enjoy a relaxing sunbath in the soft sand and a refreshing swim and the beautiful azure waters of Kefalonia. A charming bar - restaurant is located just some meters above the beach, offering delicious meals from local recipes and nice wine. There are no tourist facilities, so the beach remains unspoiled and peaceful.

The coast is accessible by car, and some parking spaces are available. To reach the beach, visitors have to use the stone steps that have been created.
