How to get to Pessada beach

There are many different ways to get to Pessada from any location on the island.
Airport to Pessada: 10 km / 6.2 miles | Sami Port to Pessada: 33.2 km / 20.6 miles | Argostoli to Pessada: 12 km / 7.4 miles

From the Airport to Pessada: There’s a bus station outside the airport building. There are buses from the airport to Argostoli during the day. From Argostoli, visitors should follow the bus route Argostoli > Pessada. 
From Sami Port to Pessada: There’s a bus station at the main port of Kefalonia, Sami. There are buses from Sami to Argostoli during the day. From Argostoli, visitors should follow the bus route Argostoli > Pessada. 
Tip: Since buses don’t always stop at every scheduled stop of their itinerary, our advice to visitors is to inform the driver about their final destination, so that he makes a stop there.
