General information

The beach of Pessada is located 12 km east of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, and is separated into a larger and a tiny bay. It offers exquisite views of the natural landscape and the small fishing boats that moor there, as there is also a quay nearby. It showcases golden sand and crystal-clear azure waters, ideal for swimming, while some rock formations surround it.

There are no facilities, such as sunbeds and umbrellas, so it is fairly tranquil, ideal for relaxation and peaceful moments. It is accessible by car until some point, and a path takes visitors to the shore from there. The Church of Estravromenos stands on top of Pessada village, not that far from the beach.
