Kefalonia Paliostafida beach

General information

Paliostafida is one of the lesser-known beaches of Kefalonia, located only 3 km from Argostoli, the capital of the island. It is a small yet fully organized beach with umbrellas, sunbeds and a canteen that offers snacks and drinks. Several guest houses and accommodation options can also be found nearby.

The sandy beach is surrounded by steep cliffs covered with lush vegetation, tall pine trees and various other plants. The turquoise waters are clean and shallow, ideal for families with young children.

Despite the short distance from the town, Paliostafida remains unknown to many visitors and Greek travelers, while locals prefer its tranquility.
It is easily accessible by car, and parking space is available near the shore.
