New ferry route to Ithaca from Killini

• Category: News

New ferry connection was recently established for the island of Ithaca, after the withdrawal of Ionian Ferries from the Ithaca routes. The ferry company Kefalonian Lines now runs ferry schedules from Sami port in Kefalonia, to Pisaetos port in Ithaca and Killini port in Peloponnese, mainland Greece.

This ferry trip will take place three times per week. The ferry departs at 07:00 am from Ithaca and arrives in Killini at 09:30 am, after 2 hours and 30 min. The return trip departs at 21:30 pm from Killini and arrives in Ithaca at 23:55 pm. Routes are performed via Sami Kefalonia.

Through this schedule, Ithaca is directly connected with the busy port of Killini, that also serves ferries to Zakynthos and Poros port in Kefalonia. Also this is a great facilitation for the locals, as they get access to day transport to mainland Greece and the neighboring island of Kefalonia.
